Tis the season to be jolly!

Thepast week has been wonderful. Church camp was great..as usual (: Ihauled my sleepingbag,shoebag, duffel bag and myself to camp onwednesday evening. Camped in church till friday morning before i had toleave early. Anyway this camp was really fun although i didnt get toknow the younger JYMers better but there's always a next time! hahabest night was thursday night. Altar call was great. I felt so muchbetter after going up. Anyway after service had our skit. John pang,was very entertaining, Wilson,being the quiet andstudious one, did a great job at shaking his hips. David was just asprofessional at 'lyrical dancing'. haha Dexter looked good in thepriest attire. Hahaha i was ridiculously entertained by their specialantics. It was fantabulous (: After a lovely lovely session ofentertainment, it was time to stay up late. Well last night in churchcamp's usually the best cos everyone just hangs around till 3-4ambefore heading off to sleep (with much reluctance). From 12am-430am,played games with the double J's, talked at the dining area with theother youths,packed my bag and doodled on scrap pieces of paper.Goodfun, Great company.

Anywayheaded off to slp at 445am? woke up around 7am and left church. Didntget to say goodbye to everyone cos they were all slping. So anywayafter church met btan for prata breakfast before heading home to showerthen i headed off to work. Work was great. Had to learn alot of thingson the first day but it's all good.And those who came down to visit,THANKS (: appreciated it although i was feeling abit uptight due toonly 2 hours of slp. Hahah anyway after work, headed to town (althoughi really wanted to go home and slp) to meet daniel. I had really nochoice since i cancelled on him twice. heehee. So anyway met him incine and had dinner before catching Night At the Museum. Hahaha thatshow's hilarious. I admit, i dozed off in the first 15 mins. I was justsoooo tired. But luckily i was amused when the Trex came alive...soyeah when the things in the museum came alive, I too came alive. i'msuch a terrible going out partner. Fancy falling asleep during a movie.Haha (: Anyway after the show, headed home, showered and caught up onsome good old fashion beauty sleep in mycosyflooded-with-marshmallow-soft-cushion bed. Just what i needed (:

Today,woke up at 10am. Had more christmas pudding for breakfast. Tsk! howunhealthy but oh well, christmas comes by only once a year so i doubtit'll hurt my waistline much.! Haha anyway hung around home till 2plusthen dad dropped me off at church for carolling (: Great company again.Hahah i was deciding between Alto or Soprano. But my dear cousin,Gabriel asked me to head to soprano. And yes, it's easier (: haha soanyway headed to a 3 places. First place was eugene's place. Haha aftercaroling, there was food given but i was being 'smart'. I ate celeryand carrot sticks while Junxu kept insisting i was on a diet. But no, iwas just saving stomach space for the food coming up in other houses.And i proved it when there was a better spread of food at the nextplace and the last house we went to.

Hahah2nd place was at suntec. NUS guild house. Food was better but i wasstill saving my stomach for the 3rd place. Haha the godma's house. Hahaanyway everyone got there at 10pm? Sang and some of us(jesse,me,gab,johnston,joyce,addy etc etc) plonked ourselves at thedining and feasted! Hahah we abused their hospitality. Haha well atleast i think i devoured so much food, i felt so stuffed. Haha goodcompany, great spread of food (glazed ham, gourmet meat, roastbeef with the best mushroom sauce, fresh greens, garlic italianmushrooms,baked potatoes, stuffed quails and wonderfully(and sinfully)drenched/soaked-in-butter butter and bread pudding) and pretty christmas decorations. Absooolutely loves it (: After the very sinful
butsatisfying dinner/supper, headed home cos my family was at the party,while the other jymers went back to church. What's not to love aboutthe christmas season when everyone just basks in each other's companyand we can only thank God for allowing all of this to happen. We'retruly so blessed.

Christmas eve was spent well. Woke up late so i did not go to church. Anyway headed to town to do some last minute shopping with neighbour tan. Haha and i got quite alot of things. After that, his dad sent me home and i went to grandma's house for christmas eve family party! haha BBQ. i ate quite early so the rest of the night i was the chef bbqing food for the people there. Haha fun stuff. Anyway at 12 midnight, everyone rushed under the christmas tree to open their presents. Haha this year addy and I only had 2 presents! HAHAHA as we grow older we get less presents. Next yr, we'll have to start buying for people already. Hahah anyway i got 2 juicy couture shirts from aunty audrey and necklace from aunty diana. My mum hasnt given me my present which is a new handphone. but there's always time. Anyway after that headed home to slp.

Christmas! was great. Although i felt bad about not writing anyone cards this year. There was really no time. But anyway went to church in the morning, hung around with everyone, collected my presents and cards, snacked on cookies made by mel and aunty sally and brenda. Haha played games like CHOPSTICKS and CHEEKOPAK with clement,addy,junxu and david. Opened up my lovely present from caleb and brenda with johnston which made both of us laugh out loud. Hahah after addy left, i continued to hang around church with brenda,crystal,hazel,siyu,liz,caleb,david and junxu. Then we headed to nydc for lunch before heading to kaimin&kaixin's place for MAHJONG! hahaha anyway went there, watched Love actually and played mahjong with the girls and david. haha after that i BINGED with hazel. Oh man. it was so funny. haha we just ate and ate and ate and ate. haha after that we had kfc dinner and durian at kaimin's. um basically we stayed there till 10 plus before heading home.
